The Aitchison Business Concept, otherwise referred to as ABC, is a business and economics-based event run over the course of 3 days and is one of the many events hosted every year by Aitchison College. This year ABC was taking place for the 7th consecutive year from the 31st of January 2020 to the 2nd of February 2020. There were 8 different categories that delegations could take part in during the 3 days.
TNS Beaconhouse sent 2 delegations to this event and returned with a major victory. The first delegation, consisting of DP-1 students Shamsher Iqbal (Head Delegate), Hasan Ahmad, Aly Khan, Jihan Adnan Khan, Zoya Mughal, Saim Munsif and Selena Atif came first in 3 categories and second in 2 categories. The categories this delegation came first in were MUNey and Rubicon, both debating categories as well as Social Entrepreneurship, a business, marketing and social issues category. The categories this delegation came second in were B.Y.O.I (Build Your Own Idea), in which a business idea for a product or service had to be presented, as well as Mall Street which was an event planning category based on budgeting and cost covering. These victories led this delegation to receive the award for Best Delegation. The second delegation consisted of students from Grade 9 who came first in the B.Y.O.I category. Overall this event was a major achievement for TNS in the fields of business and economics and was a great victory after TNS received runner up best delegation at the Aitchison Artfest.
